Design Finds You’ll Want in Your Home: Straight from High Point Market
Twice a year, designers from all over head to High Point Market to see what’s new, what’s trending, and what’s actually worth bringing home to clients. This spring, I joined two guided showroom tours that introduced me to some amazing vendors I hadn’t seen before—and gave me a fresh take on a few favorites.
Here are a few standout pieces I’m excited about—each one perfect for the busy professionals and growing families I work with here in Charlotte and Lake Norman.
Four Hands Rotating Desk
This desk instantly stood out. The rotating design gives it a unique edge—not just visually, but functionally too. It’s perfect for adapting to your day, whether you’re spreading out for work or tucking things away to keep the space clean. Sleek, smart, and great for a home office that needs to multitask as much as you do.
Scalloped Furniture
I often steer clear of trends, but this is one I really love and saw a lot of at Market: curved, scalloped edges on chairs, benches, and sofas. The look feels soft and playful, but still clean and elevated. Great for clients who want their space to feel stylish without trying too hard. I’m already thinking about where I can use one of these in an entryway or cozy reading spot!
Painted Paper Wallpaper
Wallpaper doesn’t have to be intimidating—especially with a brand like Painted Paper. Every pattern comes in traditional, pre-pasted, and peel-and-stick options, which makes it easy for all comfort levels. Lake Norman clients: this one’s for you. Harbour’s outdoor line is beautiful and built to last.
